Badgers is brewed by Hall and Woodhouse a fifth generation family owned company. Suprisingly they have 1,500 employees and have been brewed 1777. Their brewery is based in Blandford St. Mary in Dorset. I have had some of the badgers products before and was not all that inpressed to be honest, but I found their original ale to be nice. Zatec is brewed in the town of Zatec which is about 80km north east of Prague. The brewery was built in 1800 inside Zatec castle walls although they claim to brew beer since 1004. This was first brewed by in 1990 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Maredsous is brewed to traditional methods formed by augustinan monks and is a certified Belgian Abbey beer. This is always going to play second fiddle to its bigger brother mr duvel, but it is not one ot be scoffed at. Henniger is brewed in Frankfurt Germany. I find it hard to say this is a bad beer, because it is very easy to drink and I am sure after 2 litres of it would start to grow on me, but all in all it is average. My first Agrentinian beer. It is brewed in Quilmes near Buenos Aires. Like Tusker in Kenya , this is viewed as a national institution. Quilmes sponsors the Argentinian Soccer team and Boca Juniors. All I have in my wallet is a bunch of receipts from Off Licences. 92 standing to attention this morning.Can't believe I arranged them in alphabetical order by brewery. There is a method to my madness( even though saner people are locked up).
